Filming of stories for the documentary series «Invisible Witnesses of the War» by the Belarus 3 TV channel in BGAMLI

On February 11, 2025, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) filmed stories for the documentary series «Invisible Witnesses of the War» by the Belarus 3 TV channel.

Director Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko, head of the information, publication and use of documents department Vera Valentinovna Birulya and leading researcher Dmitry Sergeevich Samakhvalov presented journalists with documents from the archive-museum reflecting the participation of Belarusian literary and artistic figures in the events of the Great Patriotic War, their contribution to the overall victory of the Soviet people.

One of the significant goals of the participation of BGAMLI employees in the television project is to show that archival documents are important historical monuments that recreate the true picture of the Great Patriotic War.
