On February 12, 2025, at the base of the institution «State Archives of the Vitebsk Region», an expanded meeting of the board of the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee was held with the participation of the First Deputy Head of the Main Department of Justice Marina Fedorovna Bykova and the Deputy Head of the Department of State Registration of Commercial (Non-Commercial) Organizations, Legal Expertise and Organization of Work of Archival Institutions of the Main Department of Justice Oksana Vasilievna Pashkevich.

The board was attended by directors of state and territorial archives of the Vitebsk Region.

During the event, archivists of the Vitebsk Region were awarded based on the results of the work of archival institutions for 2024. Honorary Certificates and Gratitude from the Head of the Main Justice Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee were presented. Among the awardees were eight employees of the institution «State Archives of the Vitebsk Region».

The event ended with a speech by Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region Buevich Tatyana, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the 81st anniversary of the beginning of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The film «Operation Bagration», prepared by BGAKFFD as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», was shown to those present.
