On the implementation of the republican campaign «Archives for School» in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On January 30, 2025, as part of the campaign «Archives for School», an excursion for students of the construction faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) was held in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation.

The participants got acquainted with the history of the archive, the building it occupies, as well as the structure and main areas of its activities.

The organization of the work of the archival storage facilities, where the students learned about the rules for placing documents, the procedure for issuing and recording cases, and measures to ensure the safety of archival materials, aroused great interest.

In the reading room of the archive, the students got acquainted with the design documentation of the National Library of Belarus, the Belarusian National Technical University, as well as with a banner exhibition dedicated to the history and modern development of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the restoration of Minsk after the Great Patriotic War.
