On holding a thematic lesson with students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.16 of Mozyr»

As part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», on January 31, 2025, a thematic lesson «Archive and its activities. The profession of an archivist in the past and present» was organized for students of grades 6-8 of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.16 of Mozyr». During the lesson, the children got acquainted with the main areas of activity of the archival institution. Thanks to the employees of the institution, the students learned a lot of interesting things about the profession of an archivist: what skills and abilities, along with professional knowledge, a person of this profession should have.

Also, a tour of the archival storage facilities of the institution was organized for the students, during which the chief custodian of the funds, Bikchentaeva T.R., spoke about the funds and the specifics of working with them, about the conditions for storing documents.
