Participation of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus Management in a Working Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Union State

On January 24, 2025, a working meeting was held in the Standing Committee of the Union State on the issue of publishing projects within the framework of the «Union State Library». The meeting was attended by the State Secretary of the Union State D.F.Mezentsev, Deputy State Secretary of the Union State E.L.Bogdan, Head of the Standing Committee of the Union State in the Republic of Belarus A.M.Markevich, heads of museum and scientific institutions, and others. From the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB), the meeting was attended by the Director of NARB A.K.Demyanyuk and the Deputy Director of NARB S.V.Kulinok.

The meeting was opened by Mezentsev D.F. He presented new projects published under the auspices of the «Union State Library», and also announced the preparation of publications in 2025. One of them will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. Director of the National Archives of the Russian Federation A.K.Demyanuk voiced proposals for the archive’s participation in work on publishing projects.
