On holding information hours with 10th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.21 in Orsha» at the Zonal State Archives in Orsha

On January 24, 2025, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», information hours were held with 10th grade «B» students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.21 in Orsha», by the leading archivist of the Department for the Use of Documents of the State Archives in Orsha, Yulia Ivanovna Gryadovka, on the topics: «Developing Belarus. United Belarus», «Union construction and fraternal relations between Belarus and Russia», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the existence of the presidency in the Republic of Belarus, as well as the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus «On the Creation of the Union State». The content of the event was aimed at comprehensively familiarizing students with the main achievements of the Republic of Belarus over the years of independence in various areas – industry, agriculture, science, education, medicine, culture and sports, space exploration, archival activities, as well as forming in young people an understanding of the history of the creation of the Union State, the value of friendship between the peoples of Belarus and Russia.

Interactive slides demonstrating the key stages of the development of the Republic of Belarus attracted the attention of those present and created an opportunity for a deep analysis of historical processes.

At the end of the event, a tour of the stand exhibitions, which are on display in the archive, was conducted for students.
