On the training seminar held by the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region»

On January 24, 2025, a practical seminar was held at the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region» on the topic «Records management in organizations as required by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. Changes to the instructions for records management from 01.07.2024. Archival storage of organization documents and transfer for permanent storage». The practical seminar was organized for employees responsible for records management and archives in organizations – sources of staffing of the regional archive: the administration and department of social protection of the Zheleznodorozhny and Novobelitsky districts, the institution «Gomel Regional Sports Club of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus», etc.

The practical seminar was conducted by the head of the department of records management, formation of the National Archival Fund and archives of organizations Tatyana Khinevich, who spoke about the legislative documents on records management of the Republic of Belarus and the changes adopted since 2024. Tatyana Khinevich spoke in detail about the issues of maintaining personnel records in organizations, document work processes, as well as the terms, storage conditions and procedure for transferring documents to the regional archive.
