On the holding of information hours «Developing Belarus. United Belarus», «Union construction and fraternal relations between Belarus and Russia» by the employees of the institution «Zonal State Archives in Orsha» within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School»
On January 16, 2025, within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School», with the students of the 10th grade in the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.7 in Orsha» the employees of the institution «Zonal State Archives in Orsha» held information hours on the topics: «Developing Belarus. United Belarus», using the information material prepared by the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus for the 30th anniversary of the presidency; «Union construction and fraternal relations between Belarus and Russia», timed to coincide with the celebration of the anniversary of the Union State. During the event, students learned about the key aspects of the development of the sovereign Republic of Belarus, the country’s main achievements in various areas over the past three decades – industry, agriculture, science, education, medicine, culture and sports, archival activities, and also learned about the importance of the institution of the presidency in the historical, political and social context, considered the main stages of the creation of the Union State, known facts confirming the long-term friendship and close cooperation of Belarus and Russia.
Students discussed the importance of the institution of the presidency and its role in the formation of modern state institutions, exchanged views on the achievements of the Republic of Belarus over the past three decades, emphasized the importance of stability and unity of the country in the context of global challenges, shared their vision of the benefits of comprehensive cooperation between Belarus and Russia.
The presentation of materials not only contributed to the expansion of students’ knowledge about the achievements of the country and its integration processes, but also reminded them of the importance of the state archival service in preserving historical heritage and culture.
