As of today, the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region» is headed by Yuri Shestopalov.

The new director was introduced to the staff by the head of the main department of justice Artem Kamalyev.

Yuri Shestopalov is a native of Gomel. He has two higher educations in history and jurisprudence. Before his new position, he worked in the construction industry, in customs authorities, in the field of ideology and law. He has a state award.
