«Archives for School»: a lesson at Secondary School No.12 in Rechitsa

On December 5, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, ZGA employees in Rechitsa met with 9th and 11th grade students of Secondary School No.12 in Rechitsa. They gave the children a video tour of the archive storage facilities and departments of their archive, introducing them to the work of archivists. In honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazism, the schoolchildren were shown the documentary film «Liberation» by BGAKFFD, during which they learned how the liberation battles of the Red Army against the Nazi invaders took place in the regional centers of Belarus.
