BGAMLI celebrated Father’s Day

On October 21, 2024, a ceremonial meeting of the staff was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) to celebrate Father’s Day. This holiday ends the parental week, which begins on October 14 — Mother’s Day. This event is aimed at preserving traditional family values.

On this day, the BGAMLI staff saw off Vyacheslav Vadimovich Selitsky, a young specialist in the department of archives of organizations and formation of the NAF, who was called up for military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

BGAMLI Director Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko expressed warm words of farewell to the future serviceman with wishes for an easy and successful service, endurance and stamina. Vyacheslav thanked the management and staff of the archive-museum for their support and expressed his opinion on the importance of service in the Armed Forces and the fulfillment of their military duty for the younger generation. After all, the army has always been not only a school of courage and tempering of male character, but also an honorable cause for the strong half of humanity.
