Open Day at the State Archives of the Mogilev Region for representatives of acquisition source organizations with a screening of the film «Liberation»

On September 26, 2024, an open day for representatives of acquisition source organizations was held at the State Archives of the Mogilev Region.

The open day was attended by persons responsible for the archive and specialists in document support of institutions and organizations.

Visitors were shown the documentary film «Liberation», which was prepared by employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents (Dzerzhinsk) as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We Brought This Day Closer as We Could», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

A tour of the document digitization laboratory was organized for those present, where they were clearly shown the process of digital processing of documents and the conditions for storing documents in archival repositories.

In addition, the guests were able to see the current exhibitions of archival documents on stands and display cases dedicated to the Day of National Unity and the Year of Quality («OJSC Mogilev Meat Processing Plant: Time-Tested Quality»).
