Not by words, but by deeds: The State Archives of the Minsk Region joined the large-scale beautification campaign «Housing and Utilities and Belaya Rus Together»

A clean city begins with caring for your own backyard. Employees of the State Archives of the Minsk Region traded their usual workstations and archival files for rakes and brooms. The archivists enthusiastically responded to the invitation of the Partizansky District Office of the Belarusian Party «Belaya Rus» in Minsk and joined the large-scale beautification campaign «Housing and Utilities and Belaya Rus Together».

The work was in full swing: participants tidied up green spaces, swept paths, and cleared fallen leaves.

This initiative has a profound meaning. Every day, page after page, archivists carefully preserve history in unique documents. They, like no one else, know how important it is to preserve the present. After all, what we create today will become part of our shared history tomorrow. The staff of the Minsk Region State Archives demonstrated through personal example that genuine love for one’s city is measured not by words, but by tangible, useful deeds.
