Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management O.L.Voinov on a working visit to the reconstruction of the building for the archive of public associations of the Grodno region

On September 25, 2024, to provide assistance and as part of monitoring the progress of work at the site «Reconstruction of the barracks building for the archive, located at 11/14 Krasnoarmeyskaya Street, Grodno», Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov visited the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Grodno Region».

O.L.Voinov discussed the progress of the reconstruction and the issues that have arisen with representatives of the general contractor and engineering organizations. The Director of the Department pointed out the need for unconditional development of funds, prompt resolution of emerging issues and ensuring the pace of construction by the contractor while maintaining the quality of work.

Director of the archive of public associations of the Grodno region L.N.Gorbach spoke about plans for relocation, occupancy of archive storage facilities, and the placement of archive employees.

Following the visit, plans were outlined for opening the archive in 2025.
