The Zonal State Archives in Molodechno hosted the Unified Safety Day by a member of Parliament

Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Denis Ushatsky held a meeting with the management and workforce of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Molodechno».

The speaker began his speech with warm words of congratulations to the archive staff on the Day of National Unity, also spoke about his work in the Standing Committee on Ecology and Nature Management, explained the process of adopting bills and important aspects of legislative activity. He separately touched upon: the opening of the second session of Parliament, the work of deputies during and between sessions, the adoption of bills and the ratification of agreements, labor issues, pension provision, criminal legislation and other key topics.

The deputy also acted as a speaker on the Unified Safety Day. The topic is well known to Denis Ivanovich – he worked in the structure of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for more than 20 years, headed the district department. The guest cited statistics on fire deaths, stressed the inadmissibility of leaving children unattended and the importance of installing fire alarms. The topics of scheduled evacuations, compliance with fire safety regulations, and the ban on visiting forests during fire-hazardous periods were also touched upon.

At the end of the meeting, the deputy presented the archive staff with copies of publications published in the first half of the 20th century in Belarus, the originals of which are stored in the Presidential Library. The institution’s specialists, in turn, conducted a tour of the archive for the people’s representative.
