On the demonstration of the premiere screening of the documentary film «Liberation» by the institution «Zonal State Archives in Slutsk»

On June 29, 2024, an information and memorial hour «The Heroic History of the Liberation of Belarus», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus, was held at the Slutsk District Library.

Director of the Institution «Zonal State Archive in Slutsk» Borodina Irina Antonovna within the framework of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could» held a film lecture for readers of the Slutsk Regional Central Library.

For the students of the Slutsk State Industrial College and library readers present at the event, the film «Liberation», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents» was shown.

Before watching the film, library employee V.N.Gridasov spoke and spoke about fellow countrymen – heroes of the Great Patriotic War, who paid a high price for our right to live under a peaceful sky.

The presentation «Literary heritage of front-line writers of Slutchina» was demonstrated.

An exhibition-viewing «Invincible Belarus» was prepared for the event.
