Conducting classes within the framework of the pilot project «Young Archivist» at the institution «State Archive of the Grodno Region»

On June 25 and 26, as part of the pilot project «Young Archivist,» the institution «State Archives of the Grodno Region» held 2 classes for 2nd year students of the Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

During the classes, archive staff familiarized students with the procedure for using archival documents in the archive reading room and the features of working with scientific reference apparatus when identifying documents. Students visited the archival storage facility, as well as a laboratory for restoration, binding and repair of documents, where they were given a master class on restoring large-format documents.
