Film lecture «Liberation» for the Zhlobin security department of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus

On June 27, 2024, employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin» within the framework of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could» held a film lecture for employees of the Zhlobin Security Department of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

The film «Liberation», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents» was shown to the workforce.

Before watching the film, an archivist of the first qualification category, Irina Nikolaevna Eliseeva, spoke about the heroes of the Second World War in the Zhlobin region: front-line soldiers, underground fighters, partisans who paid a high price for our right to live under a peaceful sky.
