Conducting a visiting meeting of the Minsk City Association of Trade Unions in the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents

On June 19, 2024, a visiting meeting of the Minsk City Association of Trade Unions was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents (hereinafter referred to as BGAKFFD). BGAKFFD employees organized an excursion for the participants of the retreat, during which the leaders of trade union organizations in Minsk could get acquainted with the main directions and features of the archive’s work related to the use, preservation, restoration and digitization of documents.

During the event, the prospects for cooperation with the BGAKFFD with the trade union organization in Minsk and future joint projects were discussed.

At the end of the event, the film «Liberation» was shown, prepared by BGAKFFD employees on the basis of stock documents within the framework of the «Open Film Archive» project.
