On summing up the results of the republican action «Archives to School» by the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region»
On June 14, 2024, at the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive), a production meeting of the heads of structural divisions of the archive was held.
The event was opened by GAGom director Andrei Nikolaevich Sushchevich. In his opening speech, he noted that the regional archive continues to interact with educational institutions within the framework of the republican action «Archives to School», organizing events aimed at information education and patriotic education of schoolchildren based on materials from the State Archive.
Zoya Anatolyevna Aleksandrovich, head of the department of information, publication and use of documents at the State Archive, made a report on summing up the results of the republican educational campaign «School Archives» for the first half of the year. In her speech, she informed the audience about the results of the work done within the framework of this action.
Zoya Anatolyevna Alexandrovich’s report was accompanied by photographs and videos.
Based on the results of the report, the director of the regional archive, Andrei Nikolaevich Suschevich, noted the positive work of the department, its significant contribution to informing the population, especially children and youth, in order to preserve the historical memory of the heroism and courage of our people during the Great Patriotic War.
