Mentoring Day was held at the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region
On June 7, 2024, as part of the International Week of Archives, the institution «State Archives of Public Associations of the Gomel Region» hosted a Mentoring Day, the purpose of which is to exchange experience with young archivists.
During the event, archivist 1st quarter. category of the department of accounting and ensuring the safety of documents, Irina Vladimirovna Tarasova, explained to young archivists the procedure for accepting documents for permanent storage, checking the availability and state of affairs, and also answered all their questions.
Fedorova Valentina Anatolyevna archivist 1st quarter. categories of the records management sector, the formation of the NAF and archives of organizations, explained the principles and criteria for conducting an examination of the value of documents, and young archivists took part in a master class on document repair in the laboratory of the state archive.
