Lesson of the Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa in honor of the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus (May 12)
On May 10, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, Rechitsa archivists conducted a lesson with 3-4th grade students from secondary school No.12 in Rechitsa. The children watched and listened with interest to information about the history and meaning of state symbols, as well as the emblems and flags of the Gomel region and its 21 regional capital cities. Traditionally, at the end of the lesson, a fascinating quiz «In the Country of Symbolism» was held, during which the young audience brilliantly demonstrated their acquired knowledge about the heraldic symbols of Belarus and the Gomel region.
