Participation of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents in festive events in honor of Victory Day on May 9
May 9 is a day of remembrance for the fallen and honor for living heroes. This is the rejoicing of the liberated people and an eternal reminder to the young at what cost the Great Victory was achieved. On this day, solemn rallies and marches «Belarus Remembers» are held everywhere, uniting Belarusians in a single patriotic impulse.
Employees of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents» (hereinafter referred to as BGAKFFD) took part in the ceremonial events. The BGAKFFD team, together with other organizations and enterprises of the Dzerzhinsky district, held a solemn procession as part of the «Belarus Remembers» campaign. In memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War, director A.N.Gonchar and deputy director E.M.Grinevich laid a wreath at the fraternal cemetery in Dzerzhinsk.
