OPENING OF THE DOCUMENTARY EXHIBITION «80 YEARS OF LIBERATION OF BELARUS»

On the eve of the celebration of Victory Day, employees of the Zonal State Archives in Pinsk organized a documentary exhibition of archival documents «80 years of the Liberation of Belarus» at the Pobeda cinema in Pinsk. On May 2, the opening of the exhibition was attended by leaders and representatives of the Pinsk City Executive Committee, students of Polesie State University, students of schools and colleges of the city.

Archival documents are the main sources of information about the Great Patriotic War. The documents help to assess the scale of damage caused during the period of Nazi occupation. They contain facts about the execution of civilians, the policy of genocide, and the broken destinies of people. The exhibition will be on display until May 19.
