BGAMLI live on the «Cultures» program of the Belarusian radio
On May 8, 2024, director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art E.A.Makarenko together with the editor of the magazine «Native Words» N.N.Shapran took part in the live broadcast of the «Culture» program of the Belarusian Radio of the National State Television and Radio Company.
The program was recorded on the eve of the celebration of the 79th anniversary of the Victory and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and was dedicated to Belarusian writers, participants in the Great Patriotic War.
The host of the program is the deputy director of the «Culture» channel of the Belarusian Radio, Honored Cultural Worker of Belarus, poet and publicist N.Ya.Galperovich paid special attention to the importance of preserving and popularizing the literary heritage of Belarus dedicated to the events of the war.
Director of the archive-museum E.A.Makarenko spoke about the documents of famous literary figures of Belarus – participants in the Great Patriotic War, stored in BGAMLI, the importance of joint events held by the archive-museum with archival institutions and cultural and art organizations (opening of exhibitions, memorial evenings and round tables) dedicated to this issue.
Editor-in-Chief N.N.Shapran shared the main ideas and publication projects to popularize the life and work of Belarusian front-line writers.
