Meeting of the labor collective of BSAMLA

On April 26, 2024, at the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, under the leadership of director E.A. Makarenko, a meeting of the workforce was held, at which the results of the Zero Injury Week at the archive-museum were summed up.

The central theme of World Safety and Health Day was the impact of climate change on occupational safety and health. The workers also discussed issues of labor protection, the importance of observing safety rules in the workplace, as well as the prevention of injuries and occupational diseases.

The BSAMLA team reviewed specific cases of violation of safety rules among employees in the history of the industry; outlined the basic principles of professional safety and the responsibilities of each employee to comply with it.

As part of increasing the coverage of workers with additional pension insurance programs, archivists and researchers discussed plans to attract more people to participate in programs for voluntary insurance of additional funded pensions with financial support from the state and voluntary insurance of additional pensions, taking into account the financial capabilities of organizations.
