Conducting unscheduled training on emergency evacuation of employees of the NIA of Belarus and BRIDAS

On April 17, 2024, in accordance with the instructions of the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, an unscheduled training was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus for the emergency evacuation of archive workers and the institution «Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science», as well as visitors reading rooms when the fire alarm is activated to simulate a fire in the archive building.

As part of the training session, the actions of the fire brigades of the NIA of Belarus and BRIDAS were worked out.

The training took place as usual, the assigned tasks were completed.

1. Formation of workers after emergency evacuation.

2. Detection and extinguishing of a conventional source of fire.
