As part of the educational archival research project «Remember to Live», on January 26, 2024, archivists held a seminar for teachers «Basics of working in the archive. Work with documents».

Director of the Zonal State Archive in Polotsk Lyudmila Viktorovna Lazarenok spoke about the main activities of the archive, about the documents stored, including the collection of documents of personal origin.

The head of the department for document support and preservation Olga Aleksandrovna Berezina introduced us to the scientific reference apparatus.

The head of the department for the use and publication of documents Dichkevich Marina Mikhailovna spoke about the rules for working with documents in the reading room of the archive and introduced the composition of documents that indicate the damage caused by the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War, with documents about the post-war restoration of the city of Polotsk and Polotsk district.
