Conducting of the State Institution “NIAB in Grodno” excursions for students of the 7th grade of secondary school No. 27 in Grodno

On October 11, 2023, as part of the republican campaign “Archives- School”, a lecture and an excursion for students of the 7th grade of secondary school No. 27 of Grodno were held in the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno.

In order to educate and patriotic education of young people and popularize the documents of the archive fund, schoolchildren were told about the history of the creation of the archive, the main directions of its activities.

The children visited the exhibition hall, where they were introduced to exhibitions created based on archival documents, as well as archives, a scientific reference library, where they were told about the composition, mode and conditions of storage of documents and periodicals.

The guests of the archive watched with interest the process of restoration of the originals of archival documents in the laboratory of special processing of archival documents.
