Opening of the joint exhibition of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art «Out of Space»

On June 29, 2023, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art took part in the opening of a joint (with the United Memorial Museum-Reserve of Yu.A.Gagarin (Russian Federation), the Zaslavl Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the National Center for Contemporary Arts of the Republic of Belarus and the Slutsk Regional Museum) of the exhibition dedicated to the theme of space and timed to coincide with the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, got acquainted with the works of compatriots – Yazep Drozdovich, Alexander Kishchenko, Georgy Skripnichenko, the young generation of Belarusian artists, as well as Russian artists Vladimir Elchaninov and Claudia Tutevol.

As never before, a poem by Maxim Bogdanovich sounded close:

«I would like to meet you on the street
In the quiet blue night

«See these big stars,
The bright stars of Hercules?
Our sun flies to them,
And the earth follows the sun.
Who are we?
Only travelers, travelers among the heavens.
Something on the ground

To the stars?»
