Information hour «Learn the whole truth about military everyday life from the first person»

On May 5, as part of the events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation and the «Archives to School» campaign, on the eve of Victory Day, employees of the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk invited their children to the information hour «Learn the whole truth about military everyday life from the first person» to recall the feat of great-great-grandfathers. The children were shown military soldiers’ letters.

… Dilapidated and yellowed from time to time, re-read many times both then, during the war, and now, in peacetime. What did the soldiers think about, what emotions did they experience, what did they dream about? They talked about the heroic events of the war years.
