Employees of the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art visited the opening of the exhibition «Dreams of Japan»

On April 14, 2023, at the invitation of the director of the National Center for Contemporary Arts (NCCA) Sergei Evgenievich Krishtapovich, employees of the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art attended the opening of the exhibition «Dreams of Japan», got acquainted with the woodcuts in the ukiyo-e style (artists Utagawa Kunisada, Katsushika Hokusai , Ando (Utagawa) Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro and others), works by Belarusian artists Anatoly Baranovsky, Fyodor Doroshevich, Pyotr Drachev, Vadim Kachan, Arlen Kashkurevich, Vyacheslav Pavlovets, Vladimir Providokhin (Khin) and others (from the NCCA funds) and artists- participants of the open-call «Dreams of Japan», watched an immersive film on the history of the ukiyo-e style.
