The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting with students and teachers of the Belarusian National Technical University

On 20 April 2022, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting with students and teachers of the Belarusian National Technical University, participants of the genealogical research contest “My Family History”.

T. N. Ageenko, researcher of the Publications Department, told about the history of the archive, the composition of documents and their storage, the perspectives of information search in the Internet. The guests visited the archival repository, where they learned about the possibilities of using archival collections for studying the family history, studied the materials of the All-Union (1926) and School (1927) Censuses, documents on the participants of the Partisan Movement and the Underground Resistance in the Great Patriotic War, personal files on faculty and students of the Belarusian National Technical University, etc.
