The State Archives of Grodno Region held a lesson “Partisans and Underground Fighters of Grodno Region” for students of Secondary School No 28 in Grodno
On 25 March 2022, as part of the “Archives for School” campaign, the State Archives of Grodno Region held a lesson “Partisans and Underground Fighters of Grodno Region” for 7th D grade students of Secondary School No 28 in Grodno.
The staff of the Archives acquainted the students with the archive documents on the partisan and underground movement during the Great Patriotic War. These are collections of documents and personal collections in the form of memoirs, copies of documents, newspapers, letters, manuscripts of articles collected by the owners of these documents and transferred to the Archives for storage.
The students viewed the exhibitions “Without statute of limitations”, “No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten”, as well as collections of documents and materials prepared with the participation of the State Archives of Grodno Region. They also learned about the online projects in which the Archives took part: “Saxon memorials”, “Letters of Victory”, “Crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against peaceful population of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”.
