A joint board of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia and the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Republic of Belarus, 26 May 2010, Smolensk, Russia
A joint board of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia (Rosarkhiv) and the Department for Archives and Records Management under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus (Department) held a session in Smolensk, Russia, on 26 May 2010.
From the Russian side the board was represented by the deputy сhief of the Rosarkhiv V.P. Tarasov, dерuty chief of the Administration for Archival Services at the Rosarkhiv T.G. Zanina, chief of the Main Archival Administration for Moscow Region P.M. Petrov, director of the State Archives of the Russian Federation S.V. Mironenko, director of the Russian State Archives of the Economy E.A. Tyurina, and deputy director at the All-Russian Research Institute of Documents and Archival Studies N.I. Khimina.
The Belarusian side was represented by the director of the Department V.I. Adamushko, first deputy director of the Department O.V. Biryukova, the chief of the scholarly use of documents and information division at the Department V.P. Kryuk, director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus V.D. Selemenev, director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies A.E. Rybakov, director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus A.K. Golubovich, and deputy chief at the Main Administration for Justice–chief at the archives and RM division at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee S.V. Rublevsky.
Deputy Governor of Smolensk Region, S. P. Krivko, took part in the board session and made a welcoming speech to the participants.
The board session discussed the issue “On the practices of the federal archives of the Russian Federation and the state archives of the Republic of Belarus in the information provision of government agencies in 2007-2009”.
The participants also discussed the Plan of Joint Actions of the Rosarkhiv and the Department in 2008-1010 and other issues of bilateral cooperation between the Belarusian and Russian archivists, and the draft plan of joint actions for the years 2011-2013.
