Young Researchers from Zhlobin Uncover Archive Secrets and Embark on a Fascinating Journey into the World of Documents

On November 3, as part of the national «Archives to Schools» initiative, the Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin opened its doors to third-grade students from Secondary School No.3 (named after V.V.Guzov), who were attending a school camp during the break. Archive staff member Irina Eliseeva prepared and led an engaging, interactive session focused on the remarkable world of documents and the vital profession of an archivist.

The event was conducted in a dynamic, game-based format. Rather than merely listening to historical facts, the children became active participants in the process. The third-graders demonstrated impressive curiosity, high levels of engagement, and a true team spirit. The keen interest in their eyes and their sincere involvement proved that history can be genuinely captivating and accessible to everyone.

The meeting concluded on a vibrant and memorable note with a screening of the animated film «Where the Truth Comes to Life», created by archive employee Margarita Feller.

At the end of the session, the young researchers thanked the archive staff for the fascinating journey, taking with them vivid impressions and valuable new knowledge.
