The text of the letter reads:

«Hello, dear Dusya. A few words from my letter, from your well-known husband, Pavel. First of all, I would like to inform you that I received your letter, from which I learned that we have a newborn daughter, Anna. I often worried about you and your well-being following the birth of your little one, but thank God, as I know from your letter, everything has gone well so far. Now your task is to raise and care for the new member of our family until my arrival».

Dunka, I’ve received two letters from you since then, written from the village of Dublin, to which I replied at your address in Dublin. I don’t know whether you received them or not. If you did, then write to me and tell me how my parents are doing, and how you’re all doing in general, what you’re sowing, and what you think about building houses. Write to me and tell me how our parents are doing, because I haven’t received any letters from them. Well, goodbye. Pavel».

The subsequent fate of the author of the letter and his family is unknown.
