International Archives Week at the Zonal State Archives in Lida

As part of International Archives Week, Open Days were held at the Zonal State Archives in Lida. From June 9 to 12, 2026, the archive was visited by students in grades 1-6 from Lida Secondary Schools Nos. 8, 14, and 17, who are attending summer school camps. The students participated in lessons on «Introduction to Archival Studies» and were given overview tours of the archives, including visits to exhibitions. Archive staff also conducted master classes on the topic «Learning to Write with a Pen». The students had a productive time and were able to try their hand at being archivists.

Lida students also watched documentaries produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
