As part of International Archives Week, a roundtable discussion, «Archives – A Woman’s Face», was held at the Zonal State Archives in Glubokoe on June 11, 2026. Representatives of the district archives serving the State Archives in Glubokoe, as well as veterans of the archival industry, attended the meeting.

Lyudmila Polyakova and Tatyana Tonkonog, directors of the Postavy and Sharkovshchinsky district archives, presented information about women archival employees who have made significant contributions to the development of the district archival institutions.

Tatyana Avlasova, Head of the Document Use and Publication Department, presented a virtual exhibition of archival documents, «The Golden Fund of the Profession – Keepers of Time». The exhibition features documents from the personal collections of Honorary Archivists of Belarus – Lidiya Arkadyevna Molchun, Zoya Nikolaevna Roslevich, and Nelya Aleksandrovna Borovik.

During the roundtable, those present warmly remembered veterans of the archival field: the first director of the archive, Maria Vladimirovna Korochkina, and archivists Yanina Leonovna Kazyuchits, Maria Pavlovna Tolch, and Lyudmila Bronislavovna Ispenkova. All of them dedicated more than 30 years to archival work.

In memory of the meeting, all guests received collections of materials from regional archival readings held in the Vitebsk region as souvenirs.
