The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presented a documentary exhibition, «The Notary System of Belarus: Through the Lens of Time»

On June 10, 2026, a joint meeting of the board of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus was held. As part of the informational support for this event, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, together with the National Historical Archives of Belarus, prepared a documentary exhibition, «The Notary System of Belarus: Through the Lens of Time».

The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presented unique documents from its collections at the exhibition: the minutes of the 1st Congress of Notaries of Belarus, questionnaires of notaries attending the congress, staffing lists of notary offices of the BSSR for the 1924/25 fiscal year, corner stamps and insulated seals of notary offices of the People’s Commissariat of Justice of the BSSR, notary office work reports, certificates, mandates, the Regulations on the Notary Department, the Law of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic on the State Notary Service, and other documents.

Leading researcher of the Archive’s Document and Information Management Department, Phd in History V.G.Mazets, introduced the exhibition to the event participants.
