«Archives for Schools» Campaign at the Zonal State Archives in Lida

On February 17, 2026, the Zonal State Archives in Lida held «Getting to Know the Archive» classes for first- and second-grade students from Lida Secondary School No.14 attending a school camp. During the classes, the students learned about the archive’s history, its activities, its archival holdings, and the reading room. Staff also organized workshops for the students, titled «Learning to Write with a Quill Pen», and conducted tours of the archive. The students learned about a new profession and even had the opportunity to try their hand at being archivists.
