About the event for gifted youth of the Brest region

On December 4, 2025, the Brest region celebrated its 86th anniversary.

On this day, a number of events took place at the Brest Regional Executive Committee: the opening of the bison museum with the participation of the Brest Regional Museum of Local History, and the presentation of the book exhibition «Brands of the Brest Region. Under the Seal of Quality», prepared by the Brest Regional Library named after M.Gorky.

The State Archives of the Brest Region also participated in the events, presenting a permanent documentary exhibition organized a year earlier in the Brest Regional Executive Committee building for gifted youth of the Brest region: representatives of the Youth Parliament under the Brest City Council of Deputies, students of the Brest Regional Lyceum named after P.M.Masherov, Brest colleges – winners of competitions and olympiads, and student teams of the BRSM of the Brest State University named after A.S.Pushkin, members of the Sokol military-patriotic club.

Archive Director Anna Karapuzova and Lead Archivist of the Document Use and Publication Department Veronika Krishchenko introduced guests to archival documents reflecting the history of the Brest region, its socio-economic development, administrative-territorial changes, population statistics of the region over the years, and more.
