Holding a joint meeting of the work collectives of the National Historical Archives of Belarus and the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs, dedicated to the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and the Single Day of Informing the Population for June 2025
On June 20, 2025, a joint meeting of the work collectives of the National Historical Archives of Belarus and the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs was held in the conference hall of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People and the Single Day of Informing the Population for June 2025.
During the first part of the meeting, Deputy Director of BelNIIDAD for Research, PhD in Philosophy Sergei Mishuk spoke about the offensive of Nazi Germany on the USSR, military operations on the territory of Belarus in the initial period of the war, the mobilization of forces and resources of our people to fight the enemy. On June 22, 2025, the Republic of Belarus will mark the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The employees of the National Information Agency of Belarus and BelNIIDAD honored the memory of all victims of the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence.
During the second part of the meeting, the topic «Belarus – a country of opportunities. Youth policy at the present stage» was considered within the framework of the theme of the Unified Information Days for the 2nd quarter of 2025. The participants discussed the main value guidelines and priorities of young people, state support for young families, the importance of civic-patriotic education, and the continuity of the heroic past of Belarus.
