The State Archives of the Minsk Region presented materials for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory at the Minsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

On April 15, 2025, employees of the State Archives of the Minsk Region spoke to the officers of the Minsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as part of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The audience was presented with a multimedia presentation «The Great Victory. Without the Right to Be Forgotten» based on documents from the state archive funds, telling about the partisan movement, the liberation of settlements in the Minsk region, the victorious May of 1945, as well as the perpetuation of the feat of Soviet soldiers.

The event also included the premiere screening of the film «The History of the Great Victory», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
