BGAMLI employees visited the exhibition «Wildlife of Belarus»

On April 16, 2025, employees of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) visited the photo exhibition «Wildlife of Belarus» in the Prizma shopping center. The exhibition features 40 works by participants in the «Wildlife of Belarus – 2024» competition. BGAMLI’s interest in the photo exhibition is not accidental. Photo art is an important part of the modern culture of our country. Maintaining contacts with photo artists in the future should help replenish archival funds with the most interesting works.

All the photographs in the exhibition are frozen moments of the mysterious life of animals, birds, and insects in our country. There is a fly in late autumn, here a sandpiper is resting on the river bank, there a migratory and rare for our area dipper is preparing to jump into the water, in the next photo a lonely bison is looking straight into the camera. Such works allow us to forget about our fast pace of life, relax, and feel the power of wild nature. Large format photographs help to examine more closely and in detail the unique moments of life of wild animals, which are not easy to capture even for a professional.
