Conducting an educational event for students of the Minsk State College of Digital Technologies by the National Archives of Belarus

As part of the cooperation agreement signed between the National Historical Archives of Belarus and the educational institution «Minsk State College of Digital Technologies», an educational event was held for students of the college on February 24, 2025.

Deputy Director of the National Archives of Belarus for Research Sergei Ryndin held a lesson for students of the college on the topic «The History of Military Service in Belarus in the Late 18th – Early 20th Century». Using a presentation and showing color paper copies, students were shown documents covering the history of military service, weapons, and insignia on Belarusian lands in the late 18th – early 20th centuries.

The lecture was especially relevant, since many of the college graduates associate their future destiny with service in the security forces of the Republic of Belarus.

The National Historical Archives of Belarus expresses sincere gratitude to the students and teaching staff of the Minsk State College of Digital Technologies (and personally to the director Georgy Vladimirovich Kozel) for the hospitable reception and great interest in the documents of the National Historical Archives of Belarus.
