War through the eyes of descendants

On September 30, 2024, in the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.7 of Zhlobin» for students of grade 7 «B», the archivist of the ZGA in Zhlobin Irina Nikolaevna Eliseeva held a thematic lesson «War through the eyes of descendants», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

Irina Nikolaevna told the children about the key events of the Great Patriotic War, outstanding participants, heroic deeds of our compatriots, about the huge losses that Belarus suffered during the war.

Time cannot be stopped. Veterans, witnesses of those difficult and majestic days, are passing away. But we, the great-grandchildren of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, by right of memory must know and remember those distant events, about the heroes of that great era, because they gave us life, sometimes at the cost of their own.
