Archivist – all about the profession

As part of the career guidance lesson «Professions of my parents», 11th-grade students of Secondary School No.14 named after M.S.Grinevich in Polotsk took a virtual tour of the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk. The children were introduced to the activities of the institution by the head of the department for the use and publication of documents, Marina Mikhailovna Dichkevich.

The children learned what archivists do, about the features and important nuances of the work of archivists, about the advantages and disadvantages of this profession, about the educational institutions of our country that train specialists in this field, employment options, as well as about passing scores in recent years.
