«School of Active Citizen»: an event with the participation of ZGA archivists was held in Rechitsa Secondary School No. 11

On September 26, 2024, events on the topic: «Youth is the time of choice. Our initiatives are here and now» were held in educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus as part of the information and educational project «STEP» – «School of Active Citizen».

Archivists of ZGA in Rechitsa were invited to the «STEP» event in Rechitsa Secondary School No. 11. During the meeting, they informed students of grades 10-11 about the work of the Rechitsa State Archives with young people as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist» (lessons, excursions, master classes, etc.), about helping students prepare scientific papers for the regional competition «Young Archivist».

In honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazism, the schoolchildren were presented with the documentary film «Liberation», created on the basis of the materials of the military newsreel stored in the BGAKFFD.
