On September 26, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region held a Single Safety Day.

The head of the supervision and prevention sector of the Vitebsk City Emergency Situations Department Aleksandr Viktorovich Shcherbakov spoke to the archive employees. The film «Take Care of Children» was shown about the consequences of leaving children unattended.

Aleksandr Viktorovich Shcherbakov conducted a practical training of the evacuation plan for employees in case of a fire, explained the procedure for actions in other emergency and abnormal situations, and providing first aid.

The stands in the lobby of the archive contain information materials on the evacuation procedure in case of a fire, actions in an abnormal situation, first aid, etc.

A check was carried out to ensure that all archive buildings have fire evacuation plans, fire extinguishers (with additional control over their recharge times), and self-rescuers.
